New York City

So I've been living in New York a couple days over two months now. I've been back to Wichita already once...unexpectedly of couse. My roommate is going to Wichita over labor day weekend, which happens to be my birthday, so my mom decided to fly out to be with me so I'm not completely alone.
Aside from what some people may think, my hip injury has gotten worse...big surprise. I have met with a wonderful surgeon out here. First step is a cortizone shot, another MRI, and some physical therapy. If that doesn't fix my problem then it looks as though I'll be having surgery.
I'm not dancing anymore. I'm sure that's a huge relief to some of you who don't think I'm a very good dancer as it is. You're probably right. I just don't with my feeling to be hurt by people who don't know anything about dance.
I start my new job tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous about that, but I'll be fine.
My birthday is in 11 days!I get to see my mommy in 9 days! YEAH!

Actually, New York isn't scary at all. I'm more scared of people judging me back home about areas that they are not experts in....like dance and health. Anyway, that's in the past. It is clearly evident that I am, and never have, faked my injury. ha.
